Frequently Asked Questions

We want to make this process as easy as possible. Here are some answers to the most common questions you may have.

Scan the QR code on your Oro Lesion Test Kit. Here you will log in and enter the kit code located on the Oro Lesion box, which is your unique kit identifier. You will receive confirmation of kit activation by email and the status change in Oris Bridge.

Although you have activated your test kit, your provider may not have. You should contact their office directly and inform them that this step is still required. Once your provider has activated the kit from their portal, you are ready to send the sample to the OrisDX lab.

The Oro Lesion test is widely covered by dental and medical insurers and is HSA/FSA-eligible; however, coverage can vary based on your specific plan’s network limitations and clinical criteria. While OrisDX works with you and your provider to support reimbursement, we recommend contacting your insurer directly to confirm your out-of-pocket costs and any required paperwork, as coverage and eligibility cannot be guaranteed.

Sample collection takes around 1-2 minutes. Immediately following, the test is shipped via FedEx, and your results are typically available within two weeks.

Each Oro Lesion report includes:

- Clear result: Detected, Not Detected, or Indeterminate (requires clinical judgment)

- Summary of detected genomic markers - Recommendations for clinical follow-up

- Optional referral pathway support (within Oris Bridge)

Results are delivered securely to your provider and made available to you via our patient portal and direct mail.
